Are you ready for another exciting Council-Wide Bridging ceremony? So are we! Next Saturday is the day of the big event and we can hardly contain ourselves for the fun that you and your Girl Scout are sure to experience.

Sponsored by Time Warner Cable, Girls Scouts of all ages are invited to come out and celebrate the beginning of their new chapter in her journey. After meeting at the Commerce Street Bridge for the special ceremony, join us at the Girl Scout Zone where there will be plenty of fun STEM, related activities. She’ll bounce from one station to the next building and testing rockets for launch, learning about the world about with the Texas Astronomical Society, meeting cool reptiles and animals from the Dogwood Canyon Audubon, and more!

This event, held in conjunction with the Trinity Wind Festival is open to families Girl Scouts, bridging or not. All she needs is $10 to access the Girl Scout Zone, get a new, colorful Council-Wide Bridging patch, and a drawstring bag. And parents? You can take part in this special event FREE of charge.

This good news gets even better when, if you haven’t already, you register as a volunteer for the event by Friday, May 15. Just by doing that, you’ll get a $5 coupon to use at any of our GSNETX shops! How cool is that?

We can’t wait for this exciting event, and we know just how much more special it’s going to be to have our entire Girl Scout family by our side to support what really matters: our girls!
