Troop 8765 earn their Girl Scout Silver Award, the highest award a Girl Scout Cadette can earn.

The Girl Scouts researched, planned, and worked with the City of Corinth and Cross Timbers Urban Forestry Council to plant 30 trees at the park. They also worked with local preschoolers to teach them about native trees and their importance to the environment.  Their work with the preschoolers enabled them to plant an additional three trees that will further benefit their community.
