Sabrina Y. not only wanted to make a positive impact in her daughter’s life, but also in the lives of other girls in her community.
What do you enjoy most about being a Girl Scout leader?
“Having the opportunity to help these young girls realize their own potential!”
What made you decide to become a Girl Scout leader?
“I became a Girl Scout leader because I wanted to give my daughter the opportunity to be a part of this EXCEPTIONAL organization. I was seeing so many negative influences on the TV, media and even with some of the interactions she had with her peers that I felt compelled to not only try and make a difference for her, but to try and make a difference in the lives of other young girls, as well.”
What do you hope others can learn from your leadership?
“I hope that others learn that leadership is much more than a HUGE commitment of time – it is the quality of that commitment and not the quantity.”
